on Cat Island

 Come visit with Christa and Brad (and Piper Lee) on Cat Island, in the eastern Bahamas.  Cat Island is  a small island (pop ~1500) located southeast of Nassau, with its own small “international” airport located 5 mins from our home on the beach.  Our beach is very quiet, clean, and the water beautiful.   We have a low-key, not-fancy, 4 bedroom home right on Fernandez Bay featuring its own guest suite facing the water, with en-suite bath (including both indoor and outdoor showers; an island feature).   There are a variety of low-key island exploration activities, as well as water ones:  We have a SUP, Kayaks, and sometimes can arrange access to powerboats for fishing or waterskiing. 
 We take care of everything once you get here.  (Customs clearance extremely easy on Cat).  We will do a variety of cooking at home and visit a couple of favorite local restaurants for Bahamas style fare.  You don’t need to bring much with you.  Fly to Nassau then take a Western Air 50 seat Embraer regional jet 20 mins to Cat .  Or Fly to Ft. Lauderdale and take a 12-seat, well-appointed Makers Air Cessna Caravan  2.5 hrs directly from Ft. Best weather is November – May (although we’re here year-round).   Christa is on island most of the time.  Brad travels back and forth more for work and spend some time at our Auburndale, FL, home.  So we’d just need to coordinate schedules.  If you have a calendar window in mind, and we can help you further with the flights/logistics – it’s pretty easy.
